Dancehall artist Casanova is back with a fresh, melody-rich track, ”What I Love,” capturing the essence of love and appreciation. Known for his infectious rhythms and heartfelt lyrics, Casanova has once again delivered a song that resonates deeply with his listeners.
When asked about the inspiration behind ”What I Love,”Casanova explains that the song is a celebration of love and the appreciation one feels for someone or something dear. “It’s a love song, inspired by the feeling of appreciation and caring towards the person or something that one may love dearly and sincerely,” he shared. The track beautifully encapsulates the emotions of tenderness and gratitude.
The accompanying music video for ”What I Love” was shot at Elevation Studios, under the direction of CXXV, and marks a collaborative effort that reflects Casanova’s artistic growth. “With every new release, I’m going to be improving my art in different aspects,” he noted. Fans can expect more creativity from him with each new project.
Writing seems to come naturally for Casanova, who revealed that he often writes more than two songs a day. His vast collection of music gives him the luxury of choosing the best material for his releases. “I use my imagination, my feelings, and what I visualize and hear as a guide when writing, so it comes easy,” he says, explaining the ease with which he creates his music.
One of the standout elements of ”What I Love” is the collaboration with fellow artist Loui. Casanova praised the partnership, saying, “The collabo was good, one of my best so far. It’s helping broaden my audience every day because Loui has his own style, but it blended so seamlessly with mine.”
Casanova is no stranger to infusing themes of love into his music, even in his more upbeat party tracks. He confidently shared, “Even in my party songs, you’re still gonna hear some love infused in the lyrics.” This consistent thread of love in his work further strengthens his connection with fans.
Ultimately, Casanova hopes ”What I Love” will inspire listeners to appreciate their loved ones even more. “I want them to hold down that person they love even more and be happy whilst doing it,” he concludes. With this track, Casanova continues to prove that love remains at the heart of his music.
