By Presta, 13 September 2024
Rapper Ian Kibe has just released a new project titled The Death of Procrastination,” aimed at inspiring listeners to overcome the common hurdle of putting things off. The track is dedicated to those struggling with procrastination, a challenge Ian himself admits to facing, even humorously acknowledging that he delayed filling out his own article.
Ian’s freestyle track Anomaly also features prominently on the project, evolving from a “Neo-like” figure to a deeper reflection on heartbreak. He describes this track as symbolizing the journey of overcoming heartbreak and emerging stronger on the other side.
One of Ian’s personal favorites, Distractions, delves into his relationship with his environment, the constant criticism he faces, and the various factors that pull him away from his purpose. But Ian Kibe has now declared, No more of that, I’m here to stay!”
His recent collaboration with fellow artist Blurr has rekindled Ian’s passion for conscious rap. He now focuses on crafting lyrics that not only uplift and inspire but also remind people of the inner strength they possess to persevere through struggles.
Ian Kibe is calling for support from his Kenyan audience, emphasizing the gratitude he feels for the love he’s received so far. He promises that soon, his music will help put Kenya on the global map.
In addition to his current project, Ian also announced plans to re-release his 2021 project, M.E.G.A (Make Earth Great Again), which is now available on all major platforms.
