By Presta, 28 April 2025
Kenyan Songbird Savinnah is soaking up inspiration on a UK benchmarking tour, diving into London’s vibrant music culture to refine her sound.
From networking with fellow Kenyan DnB Degs , connecting with Kenyan /UKFashion Designer Kiroho to witnessing Trafalgar Square’s Easter arts showcase, she’s embracing the UK’s collaborative spirit—and planning to disrupt Kenya’s scene with fresh electronic influences.
“The bravery of UK artists pushes me to take risks,” says Savinnah, who’s studying DnB’s intricacies to blend with her pop roots.
Unlike Kenya’s “payment in exposure” norm, she’s stunned by the UK’s artist-first mindset: “Here, they invest in talent.” adds Savvinah who was also featured on Arbantone’s star Danski’s Bamba Tune which is off his recently released In The Beginning Ep
Post-tour, expect Savinnah to fuse DnB and EDM into her music. “Kenya’s ready for unexpected sounds,” she hints, teasing cross-cultural collabs. Her mission? To prove boundaries are meant to break.
